Baby's First Year Package

Winter is my time for dreaming, planning, and preparing! Over the past several weeks, I've been hard at work implementing the suggestions I've received from all of you who have so kindly filled out surveys. The responses have been extremely helpful.

Some of your top requests for services you would like me to add were:

Physical and digital gift cards, which I now offer on my website at www.denicehazlett.com;

A members-only subscription service for established clients, which I have been hard at work at and am almost finished developing;

A first-year package for new babies, which is the main topic of this post.

One of the things I struggle with most as a photographer and human is how to price things. And with money in general, honestly. I listen to a lot of photography podcasts, read a ton of articles and forums aimed at professional photographers, and follow a lot of amazing professional photographers on social media. Many charge prices that would be way beyond my means, and I can only imagine that they're outside of many of my clients' reach as well. I value their art, and I think most of them are worth what they charge, but I struggle with my own worth and value. And yet, my photography business is my family's primary source of income, so I am bound and determined to make it a sustainable business that allows me to pay my own bills, plan for my future, give to those in need, and allow me time and resources to pursue personal goals. Like many folks in these trying times, I find myself really struggling financially, and I don't want to struggle anymore.

So this is the year that my photography business either gets off its butt and supports my family, or it gets a swift kick out the door. What happens after that? Your guess is as good as mine. But the clock is officially ticking.

In the meantime, I'm stepping out of my comfort zone, trying new things, asking for feedback.

To that end, I'd like to hear from ya'll about this baby's first year package I'm working to develop. Have I thought of everything? Is it what people want? How should it be priced?

Everyone who provides helpful feedback on this post will be entered to win a Starbucks gift card!

Some feedback I'm looking for is:

Does this package offer products and services you'd want?

Are the values of each session reasonable?

What should this package be priced at?

Would automatic monthly payments be helpful?

What other helpful feedback can you give about the graphic design, wording, etc.?

I'm so looking forward to hearing your feedback! Thanks so much for your kindness and support!
